CogniStreamer is Constantly Improving!

We’re proud to announce the latest release of the CogniStreamer Innovation Portal. Our last release was focused on performance. We embedded some of the basic IT infrastructure to allow for ten times the performance and make way for all the future features in our development roadmap to serve our client community in an optimal fashion.

The new Version 3.10 release of CogniStreamer is jam packed with features based on the requirements we’ve received from client feedback. Although the list of features is too long to list here, they include easy access for clients to solicit both Incremental Innovation as well as Radical Innovation. Clients can now control the Idea Work Flow and also choose how ideas are promoted. Ideas can be promoted by a variety of scoring mechanisms (including our tweak-able social science algorithm that taps into the wisdom of the crowd). Our Spotlight area and Graphics have been enhanced and the software is flexible enough, using the variable zones on a screen, to truly customize the dashboards for each type of user. CogniStreamer, working with partners Tech Clarity and Kalypso, put on a one hour webinar recently that was very well received. Many people enrolled and attended the event which focused on a high level look at how Social Media tools can enable Innovation. We’ve had our original document, written by VP North America Ron Shulkin, entitled simply Idea Management, for some time now and it takes a look at the topic from the point of view of a company considering the purchase of a license for idea management software.

Recently Wim Soens, CogniStreamer’s original founder and Head of Development, assembled some great insights into the topic of Idea Harvesting . As Wim states in the document, “Idea harvesting is quite straightforward as a concept. CogniStreamer Show Schedule

The CogniStreamer team has attended a number of shows this past year including Optimizing Innovation and the Aberdeen Group’s Innovation Symposium.

This past month we sent a team to the Front End of Innovation 2011 show in Boston. Attended by over 700 of the world’s corporate innovation experts, the CogniStreamer team enjoyed meeting many of these folks firsthand. Over fifty companies expressed a strong interest in CogniStreamer with follow up discussions keeping our people very busy.

Pilots are Hopping!

CogniStreamer is enjoying great interest. We are starting a number of pilot or “trial” systems over the summer. With a history of never having a pilot fail (every pilot so far has converted to a full blown license), our team is looking forward to many new clients. Many of these companies share a variety of attributes including the fact that most are in the Fortune 500 or are of equivalent size. Almost all of them are global companies with different divisions and spread across time zones. So CogniStreamer truly enables the collaborative process across both divisions and time zones.
